Deshazor Everett's staying in DC.
The Redskins announced today that they re-signed Everett - who was a restricted free agent - to a multi-year contract extension. The exact number of years and dollar amount has yet to be disclosed.
Everett, 26, played in 14 games during the 2017 season. He put up career-best stats in total tackles (62), solo tackles (41) and passes defended (five). His 11-tackle effort against San Diego during Week 14 was also a career-best.
He also contributed to the special teams, leading the unit in both total special team tackles and solo special teams tackles.
