At long last, football is back. The Redskins report to training camp on Wednesday and practices will kick off Thursday morning. Much has changed this offseason, and the latest roster projection takes it all into account.
For a brief refresher, the Redskins drafted two first-round picks in Dwayne Haskins and Montez Sweat, traded for Case Keenum, and lost Preston Smith and Jamison Crowder to free agency.
Want more? Trent Williams is holding out for either a new contract or a new medical staff, and the team released 2018 defensive captain Mason Foster. On Tuesday.
Keeping up with the Redskins roster is a full-time job, and projecting how many of the 90 players in Richmond will make the Week 1 roster is at best an educated guess.
Much will happen during the next few weeks in Richmond and in preseason games before the roster gets finalized, but there will be new projections each step of the way.
