While his season debut came a week later than expected, Redskins running back Adrian Peterson made history in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the rival Dallas Cowboys.

The one-yard run marked the 107th rushing touchdown of Peterson's career, propelling him above Jim Brown (106) on the all-time list.

Redskins back Derrius Guice, who was placed on IR this week after surgery on his meniscus, tweeted out support for his mentor's impressive accomplishment.

Peterson is now just three rushing touchdowns away from tying Walker Payton for the fourth-most rushing touchdowns in NFL history (110).
