He's back.

Christian Pulisic once again suited up for Chelsea on Sunday, playing several minutes in the Blues 7-1 victory in an exhibition clash with Queens Park Rangers.

Chelsea's exhibition contest Sunday marked the second friendly appearance for the U.S. national team star in a matter of days, as Pulisic returned to the pitch for the first time in months earlier this week in a 1-0 victory over Reading.

Sunday's match was just the second time Pulisic played in a competitive match for Chelsea since January 1, a 1-1 draw versus Brighton & Hove Albion. Pulisic suffered an adductor injury in training and was expected to miss several weeks before play was halted in mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Pulisic has totaled six goals and six assists in 23 total appearances since his move to Chelsea from the German side Borussia Dortmund this past summer. The Premier League's resumption gives the American star a chance to rewrite the narrative on an otherwise incomplete first season with the Blues.

Midfielder N'Golo Kante also returned to action for the Blues on Sunday, which is great news for Frank Lampard's squad as their first Premier League contest back is just a week away.

Chelsea currently sits in fourth place in the Premier League table, trailing third-place Leicester City by five points. The Blues are currently just three points ahead of fifth-place Manchester United.

With two friendlies under their belt, Chelsea returns to action on June 21 with an away clash with Aston Villa next Sunday. Kickoff is at 11:15 a.m. ET and can be seen on NBC Sports Network.
