DC sports Twitter congratulates Nationals on making the World Series

The Nationals have finally done it. They're going to the World Series. Their fellow D.C. sports teams and players are happy to share in their glory.

The Wizards kicked off the festivities.

Justin Anderson got in on the fun.

So did Isaiah Thomas.

Jordan McRae poked fun at teammate Bradley Beal, who was rooting for his hometown Cardinals, not the Nationals.

It was too soon for Beal.

But he came around.

Their neighbors from the other side of South Capitol Street were plenty excited.

The Capitals, one of only two professional teams from the area to win a championship this century, know from experience what this feels like.

So do their players.

The Mystics District are fresh off their own championship.

The newest D.C. franchise won't get a shot to win a championship of their own until 2020, but they're around to congratulate the Nationals at having a shot at winning one now.

The one-win Redskins won't be advancing very far this season, but they're still happy for the Nationals.

Derrius Guice was at the game!

Former Redskins are pumped, too.

Even the Terps are pumped for the hometown squad for repping the DMV.
