Alex Ovechkin needed help getting to the Capitals game against the New Jersey Devils on time Thursday thanks to a power outage at his house.

Evidently, the power went out at Ovechkin's Arlington home. When you live in a house with an electric gate, that's a problem.

Ovechkin took to Instagram showing a video of himself using a ladder with the help of teammate Evgeny Kuznetsov to climb out of his own property.

Per RMNB, the message reads, "When power is out and you need to go to the game. Electrician @kuzy092 always comes to the rescue."

As for why the power was out, I can only assume New Jersey was somehow involved.
