The Washington Capitals and Philadelphia Flyers will still face off on Sunday afternoon, but thanks to the inclement weather bearing down on the NFL playoffs, the game time has been changed.
Instead of the originally planned 12:30 p.m. start time, the Capitals' Sunday home game will now begin at 1:00 p.m. at Verizon Center.
The change is a result of the AFC Divisional Round Playoff game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers being moved from 1:05 p.m. ET to 8:20 p.m. ET because of public safety concerns regarding the inclement weather in the Kansas City area.
The Capitals-Flyers game will still air on CSN but will also air as a CSN production on NBC.
