With a 4-3 overtime loss in Game 3 on Monday, the Washington Capitals now find themselves trailing in their series with the Toronto Maple Leafs, 2-1.

One thing that did not help Washington's effort was Alex Ovechkin's ice time.

After getting only 15:08 of ice time in Game 3, Barry Trotz vowed to get his star player on the ice more.

Nate Schmidt registered an assist in Game 3 in his first game of the playoffs and is expected to remain in the lineup as Karl Alzner will miss his second straight game.
