The Capitals may have fallen short of their ultimate goal last season, but in terms of individual success, you can't accomplish much more than Braden Holtby.

The Caps' netminder won 48 games in what would become a Vezina winning season, tying Martin Brodeur's NHL single-season record.

The Capitals honored Holtby for his historic season prior to Tuesday's game against the Colorado Avalanche. Ironically, Philipp Grubauer started the game over Holtby, but that just gave Holtby more time to enjoy the festivities.
