John Carlson may have some bragging rights in the locker room when he and Braden Holtby return to Washington.
Team USA and Canada met on Saturday in their second pre-tournament game to prepare for the World Cup of Hockey. Though Canada won the game 5-2, Carlson was able to get one past his netminder with a one-timer in the second period.

USA and Canada will meet in the actual tournament on Sept. 20, but with Carey Price expected to handle the starting duties for the Canadians, this may have been Carlson's only shot to get the better of his teammate. No doubt he won't let Holtby forget about it any time soon.
