Hockey intermissions can be great. Sometimes people win money trying to score from center-ice. Other times we get to see people — like Wizards forward Kelly Oubre — drive the zamboni.
And other times, we get the "Mites on Ice," a quick game between a local hockey team.
On Wednesday night, during the second and third periods of the Capitals' home game against the Blues, we got the "Mites on Ice," with with a Thanksgiving twist.
All the kids wore turkey costumes and in was THE BEST.
