With the 151st overall pick, the Capitals again took a defenseman - this time, selecting Sebastian Walfridsson.

Walfridsson (6'0, 194) is a bit smaller than Tobias Geisser, the defenseman the Caps took in the 4th round.

An 18-year-old out of Sweden, Walfridsson provides depth at a position the Capitals are clearly targeting this year. He played for the Swedish 18-U team at the 2017 World Championships.

Last year, in the Swedish junior league, Walfridsson collected two goals, five assists, and seven points in 38 games played.
