The Washington Football Team continues to give fans a glimpse into the historic name change and rebrand that will take place over the course of the next season.

The team’s official Twitter account shared a time-lapse video on Thursday that showed various murals and imagery with the old name and logo beings stripped from the team’s facilities.

Phrases like ‘Hail to the Redskins,’ ‘HTTR’ and ‘Fight for Old D.C.’ were removed from in the video as well as the old logo and an overhead view of FedEx Field.

The team captioned the video “Taking everything down and starting fresh.”

This video is one step in a long rebranding process that the team began a few weeks ago. On July 23, Washington announced it would use the name ‘Washington Football Team’ for the 2020 season and replaced its name and logos on social media that same day.

In addition to a new name and logos, the team released uniforms, including a helmet design that took Twitter by storm.

In the coming months, Washington will continue this transition to rid its facilities of the former name and logo and welcome in a new era in its history.
