Thanks to the Kansas City Royals, a hot dog is now an acceptable breakfast food. The team's new Sunrise Dog adds a fried egg and bacon on top of the crowd favorite, which should elevate it into crowd favorite-est status.

Following in Kansas City's footsteps, the Marlins are making an important addition to their selection of hot dogs, too. Now available in Miami: A Taco Dog, which comes loaded with chili, cheese, pico de gallo and jalapeños, and then is placed in a tortilla bun. Note to those who buy it: Don't be the weirdo who dips it in ketchup. This is way more taco than hot dog, so ketchup should not be the condiment of choice.

Baseball is America's pastime, and apple pie is an American staple. So, obviously, the Rockies have combined the two and then blended them into nacho form for the 2017 season. It makes sense that something this brilliant would come from Colorado...

The further you work your way through this sandwich, the more magical it becomes. Macaroni and cheese? Nice. Hold on — the macaroni and cheese has bacon in it? Nicer. But wait, there's more, and by more the Diamondbacks mean a burger patty, more cheese and two slices of toast. That's a potent lineup.

This Tomahawk Chop sandwich from the Braves will Tomahawk Chop any hope you had of maintaining a summer diet. The $26 creation stuffs fried pork chop, slaw and white barbecue sauces in between two hefty buns. It's supposed to serve four, so please, please don't try to make it serve one.

A little bit of D.C., Maryland and Virginia go into this dish — a half smoke courtesy of the nation's capital, crab from you-know-where and a helping of grilled ham from the Old Dominion state. Bryce Harper isn't the only reason to head to Nats Park anymore.

The Royals aren't the only organization looking to funnel funnel cake into fans' hands this year. With their own funnel cake sandwich, which also includes chicken, strawberry jam and maple syrup for dipping, the Diamondbacks are getting in on the action as well.

Surprisingly, the Red Sox aren't the team who will roll out these waffle fries mixed with clam strips and clam chowder fondue; the Mets are doing it first. Now, New York isn't exactly known for its seafood, but if this dish turns out right, perhaps one of its stadiums can be.

Like a smash hit at the box office, the Burgerizza is back for a sequel. The Braves debuted this gift from the heavens in 2016, and fortunately, it will return in 2017. Because of Atlanta's ingenuity, fans will no longer have to pick between getting a burger or a slice of pizza. Get you a snack that can do both, the Braves say.
