Earlier this season several members of the Nationals' bullpen waded into steamy waters with their stirring reading of Fifty Shades of Grey.
Now they're going Hollywood.
The Expendables 2 hit theaters this weekend, and with many of the film's stars AARP eligible, the producers are doing the smart thing and looking for younger talent when the inevitable Expendables 3 gets the green-light.
Enter Tyler Clippard, Sean Burnett, Craig Stammen and Ryan Mattheus. The Nationals' relievers joined other hopefuls including Dodgers shortstop Dee Gordon and Rangers starter Derek Holland to audition for The Expendables 3. The clip features the players giving some of their best impressions of the classic characters from Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris, Dolph Lundgren and Jean-Claude Van Demme.
With the Nationals in the middle of the pennant race, fans shouldn't worry about losing four key members of the bullpen. Judging from the video, none of these guys will be giving up their day jobs any time soon.
Which impression was your favorite? Does Tyler Clippard's Ivan Drago take the cake?
