For the first time in his career, Chris Thompson scored touchdowns in back-to-back games.
And the versatile RB did it in style both times.
A week after he scored a long, spin-cycle touchdown to chip away at the Eagles lead, Thompson broke off a huge, 61-yard run to put the Redskins up 20-10.
Thompson was expected to see an increased workload this season, and with Rob Kelley leaving the Sunday afternoon game with a rib injury, Thompson stepped up in a big way, and fast.

The long run was the second TD of the day for Thompson, who scored on a seven-yard pass from Kirk Cousins in the first quarter to give the Redskins an early 7-0 lead. All three Redskins' offensive touchdowns this season have been scored by Thompson.
