Skins' place kicker Dustin Hopkins enters his third NFL season, joining a small list of 'big-legged' kickers that have stayed with the Redskins for an extended period of time.
Brett Conway was the last kicker to have stayed on with the team for more than five seasons. Since then, the Redskins have seen 14 different kickers on the roster.
Before Hopkins' time with the Redskins, Kai Forbath was in his position for three years and in that time he converted two of four field goal attemps from fifty-plus yards.
On Instagram, Hopkins decided to show off his skills and casually kick a 65 yard field goal, ("for his bride").
In the 2015 season, Hopkins matched Forbath's fifty percent, so if in the 2016 season he can convert three of five long distance field goals, he will be one of the most sucessful distance kicker the Redskins have secured.
