After a series of personal fouls and one helmet-to-helmet hit on Panthers CB Josh Norman last Sunday in a loss to Carolina, Giants WR Odell Beckham faces a 1-game suspension. Former Redskins WR James Thrash will hear his appeal to determine if Beckham plays this Sunday.

The suspension comes after repeated qestions if Beckham should have been ejected from the Giants last-second loss to the Panthers. The matchup with Norman was physical throughout the game, and numerous NFL analysts called for a suspension of Beckham.
If it stands, Beckham will miss the Giants game against the Vikings, and his loss will be a large hole to fill for New York. On the season, Beckham has nearly 1,400 yards and 13 TDs.
Thrash played 12 years in the NFL, nine with the Redskins and the other three on the Eagles. A strong special teams performer, Thrash played long enough to know how physical matchups between wideouts and defensive backs can get, and what crosses the line.
