The Redskins have gone through two days and three picks in the NFL draft without addressing what was perceived to be the team’s biggest need, the defensive line.

According to Jay Gruden, the picks just haven’t fallen that way but he didn’t see it to be a major issue.

“There's a lot of debate going on for every pick,” he said. “We feel great about the guys we got, but I feel good about the line we have. We'll try to add one tomorrow and see what happens, but we've got Kerrigan, Galette, we've got Preston Smith, we've got Trent Murphy, Paea, Ricky Jean, we've got Chris Baker, we've got Kedric, we added some other guys - Corey Crawford is a young up-and-coming player. I feel good about the depth that we have. I'd like to maybe add one tomorrow, but we'll see.”

Gruden did note that the Redskins had already added to their defensive line depth this offseason. He confirmed that Murphy, who has been an outside linebacker since being drafted in the second round two years ago, is now with the defensive linemen full time. So they have added a young (Murphy is 25) player into the mix on the line.
