RICHMOND—Redskins coach Jay Gruden downplayed an incident at this morning's walkthrough involving cornerback Bashaud Breeland and Terrelle Pryor. Breeland clearly was the aggressor in the altercation.

"They just had a little argument," said Gruden when asked about it during his afternoon press conference.

"It happens."

"He is a very competitive individual. He wants to be great."

Gruden admitted that such incidents are rare in walkthroughs and that Breeland is an emotional player.

He said that he would encourage Breeland to take his emotions out on the other team, not on teammates.

Breeland got into a slight altercation with receiver Pryor during the team's morning walkthrough. Gruden pulled him from the defensive lineup and the fourth-year cornerback was a spectator the rest of the day.
