Josh Norman exited the field during the second quarter of the Redskins Monday night contest against the Chiefs.

The team announced Norman was dealing with a rib injury and would be questionable to return. The Redskins star corner was then seen leaving the field and walking towards the team locker room a few minutes before halftime began.

UPDATE: 10:18 P.M.: For those hoping that Norman would return, here's some bad news: The team has downgraded him to OUT for the rest of the game.

UPDATE: 12:00 P.M: Following the game, Jay Gruden revealed that Josh Norman has a rib fracture an will be evaluated later.

Norman injured his shoulder against the Rams in Week 2, and showed up on the injury report before Washington's Week 3 game against the Raiders.

Prior to the Chiefs game, however, Norman was a full participant in practice and was not listed on the injury report.

The team's best cornerback, Norman had been a big part of a resurgent Redskins defense. Along with Bashaud Breeland and D.J. Swearinger, the 'Skins defense held the Raiders to just 10 points.

Prior to leaving the game, Norman delivered a major hit on Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce.
