In his first two offseasons with the Redskins, Junior Galette encountered major issues with his health. Now in his third one with Washington, the pass rusher could be facing a legal problem.
Galette was arrested last Friday night in Mississippi, according to TV station WLOX. The reason the 29-year-old was arrested was because he allegedly got into a fight and then ran away.
WLOX reports that Galette was charged with disorderly conduct and failure to comply. The New Orleans Advocate, meanwhile, says the case is "tentatively scheduled" to go to court in mid-June.
The NFL veteran's attorney confirmed to The Advocate that the arrest did happen, but didn't comment further.
The team issued a statement: "We are aware of the incident. We are gathering information and will refrain from making any further comment."
