While the Redskins came out of their 31-20 win over the Browns in better injury shape than they emerged from last week’s win in the Meadowlands, they still have some worrisome issues.
Perhaps the biggest concern is LB Ryan Kerrigan, who left the game in the second quarter with a sprained elbow. According to coach Jay Gruden Kerrigan will get an MRI tomorrow.
The concern level is elevated because Kerrigan rarely missed more than a series or two during a game and he has never missed a start. He went into the locker room and emerged later with a wrap on his arm.
Two defensive players, LB Su’a Cravens and S David Bruton, left with concussions in the second half. Gruden said that both have entered the league concussion protocol and they will have to be cleared by an independent doctor before being cleared to play again.
