The safety is Kyshoen Jarrett of Virginia Tech. He was a three-year starter for the Hokies, He is a bit smaller than Scot McCloughan's ideal size for the position, standing 5-10 and weighing in at an even 200 pounds. He has the potential to be a core special teams player and he told reporters on a conference call that is a role that he enjoys. The Redskins took him with the 181st pick of the draft.
Immediately after taking Jarrett, the Redskins were up again with the 182nd pick and they took cornerback Tevin Mitchel of Arkansas is 6-0 and weighs 183 pounds. As a Razorback, his locker was right next to that of Martrell Spaight, drafted earlier today by the Redskins in the fifth round.
At pick 187, Washington went with offense, taking Ohio State wide receiver Evan Spencer. He is 6-2 and weighs 208 pounds. Spencer has a connection inside the building at Redskins Park; his brother, Cole, works as a scout for the Redskins.

The Kerrigan family is about to make a big-time addition to its roster.
Ryan and his wife, Jessica, already have two very, VERY, very, very cute bulldogs in their household.
But on Tuesday, the two announced in separate Instagram posts that Jessica is 18 weeks pregnant and that a third human Kerrigan will arrive in 2019.
