Redskins' undrafted rookie cornerback Lloyd Carrington has been a pleasant surprise in offseason workouts.

he former Arizona State Sun Devil doesn't have the best measurables — he's just 5-11, and ran a 4.60 40-yard dash — but his attention to detail and cover skills have raised some eyebrows in Ashburn.

At minicamp on Tuesday afternoon, Carrington's play caused more eyebrows to rise.

During a team drill, he picked off fellow rookie Nate Sudfeld with one of the better interceptions you will see all offseason.

The play was from a section of minicamp that media is not allowed to film.

But in this case, it appears as if Carrington posted video from the team's cameras positioned on elevated platforms.

Carrington has a lot of work to do if he wants to make the final 53-man roster, but this type of play near the goalline should help his case.
