Niles Paul is one of the funniest Twitter follows on the Redskins roster. The fifth-year tight end's page is full of his takes on the latest movies, snarky observations on whatever game he is watching, and humorous personal stories. But on Tuesday, Paul used the social media site to talk about something a little more serious.
A little after 12:30, Paul sent out this tweet and picture of him making a special delivery to some of the city's people in need:
Posted up outside the homeless shelter with the fam in DC giving out pizza & water to my people in need pic.twitter.com/Y7rlmPzDr1

Paul posted the same picture on his Instagram, along with a longer caption that read in part, "Handed out over 50 pizzas with waters to my people out here in need. It definitely wasn't enough but we tried to make it work."
Those in the DMV know today is one of the hotter days of the year so far, but that didn't stop Paul from helping out those who are less fortunate. And a lot of people on both Twitter and Instagram thanked the Redskins tight end for his act of kindness, including one of his teammates:
@Niles_Paul84 nice work bro!

For a guy who's used to being on the receiving end of deliveries from Redskins quarterbacks, it was a nice way for him to switch up the roles and be the one passing things out for a change.
