Mired in a dreadful day for the Washington defense, linebacker Ryan Kerrigan exited the game in the third quarter with a finger injury.

Kerrigan ran off the field pointing to his hand and the Redskins PR staff announced that he was questionable to return to the game.

While the Redskins only trailed 10-0 when Kerrigan left the game, the score was no indicative of how one-sided the contest had been in New York's favor. In the first half, the Giants out-gained the Redskins by more than 100 yards, 194-83.

Named to the Pro Bowl in December, Kerrigan is having another strong season as a pass rusher for Washington. He has 11 sacks despite playing through a number of bumps and bruises this season, including an elbow injury a few weeks back.
