You like that?! A list of Cousins's records and big numbers (so far)
You like that?!
Since Kirk Cousins became the starter, he's set about breaking Redskins franchise records. Some of the highlights of his season here.
Most 300-yard passing games in one season
Cousins threw for 319 yards against the Bills, his sixth 300-yard passing game of the season -- a Redskins record. Three quarterbacks (Sonny Jurgensen, Jay Schroeder and Mark Rypien) had five in one season.
Best home passer rating since 1950
After Sunday's win over the Bills, Cousins has finished the season with a 117.0 passer rating at home. That's the highest mark by a Redskins quarterback since 1950. Hall of Famer Sonny Jurgensen posted a home passer rating of 111.8 in 1970.
Most pass completions in one season
As of this writing, Cousins holds the franchise record for most pass completions in a single season with 336, surpassing Jason Campbell's record of 327.
Gaining on the ground
Cousins has rushed for 5 touchdowns this season, just two scores shy of Robert Griffin III's record of 7 in one season. Cousins still has two games left to catch up. He's only the fourth Redskins quarterback since 1960 to throw for four touchdowns and run for another in a single game.
Most consecutive passes without an interception at home
Cousins threw 232 straight passes without an interception at home, another franchise record.
Highest completion percentage in NFL
Cousins leads the NFL in completion percentage (69.7%) through Week 15.
