The Wizards are getting a major boost on Thursday night as they take on the New York Knicks with Bradley Beal back in the lineup after the shooting guard missed three straight games with right hamstring tightness.

Washington lost each of the three games Beal, 23, was out. The former third overall pick first hurt himself on Nov. 9 in a game agains the Celtics. He slipped on the Verizon Center floor and tweaked his hamstring.

Beal is averaging 15.4 points per game this season through seven outings. The Wizards are 2-5 with him in the lineup and 2-8 on the season overall.

His presense has been sorely missed, particularly on offense. The Wizards averaged 97 points per game while he was out.
