Ian Mahinmi is out for the third game in a row with a sore right knee, so he won't be with the Wizards tonight vs. the San Antonio Spurs.
Mahinmi made his debut with his new team and played 14 minutes earlier in the week vs. the Spurs at Verizon Center.
"He’s just doing some work individually. He hasn’t had a practice with us. Maybe over the weekend, probably Sunday," Wizards coach Scott Brooks said. "It’s day-to-day. He’s feeling better. It’s one of those things. You hate to put a timeline because you don’t really know. We just don’t want to put him out there until he’s ready to be out there 100 percent. You can’t predict anything with injuries."
Mahinmi had left knee surgery to remove cartilage before the season.
The Wizards will practice in New York on Sunday before playing the Brooklyn Nets on Monday.
