This summer has not gone well for Warriors forward Draymond Green. First, his team coughed up a 3-1 lead to lose the NBA Finals to the Cavaliers. Then Green was arrested for misdemeanor assault.

And today, the Michigan State alum accidentally sent an explicit image of his genitals to all of his Snapchat followers. The photo was posted publically for about 10 minutes before he realized the mistake and took it down, according to ESPN.

Green initially reacted in the grand tradition of athletes who regret posting offensive material on social media -- he claimed he was hacked.

This, of course, was not true. It almost never is. In reality, Green just screwed up while Snapchatting. He admitted as much when speaking to the media after a Team USA pratice in Houston.

I apologize for the situation. It's clearly not what I was trying to do. ... It was a situation where it was meant to be a private message. I kinda hit the wrong button and it sucks. It was meant to be private. We're all one click away from placing something in the wrong place, and I suffered from that this morning.

The PR police, wherever they are, will surely be unhappy with the Warriors forward. His next meeting with Coach K figures to be especially awkward.

But millennials will be disappointed, too. Green is only 26, he should know better ... how to use Snapchat.
