Watch Markieff Morris' award-worthy quote in the video player above, which will begin momentarily.
The Wizards hung on late on Tuesday night to defeat the Warriors 112-108 thanks to John Wall's 19 assists (tying a career-high) and some clutch free throws from Markieff Morris.
Morris, who finished with 22 points, six rebounds and four blocks, was a perfect 4-for-4 from the foul line, including two makes in the final three seconds to give the Wizards' a four-point lead.
Following the victory, which was the Wizards' first over the Warriors since 2014, Morris was asked about the team's clutch performance down the stretch, including his big foul shots.
Morris, clearly in good spirits, told the pool of reporters in the locker room a hilarious anecdote involving his wife which we cannot repeat here, but it was ... nuts. Trust us.
The Wizards led by as many as 17 points, but even without Kevin Durant, who exited the game in the first with a knee injury, the Warriors fought back.
The entire fourth quarter was a nip-and-tuck affair, with the Wizards only finally pulling away thanks to Morris' clutch buckets.
