Watch the full, wide-ranging interview with Wanda Durant in the video player above, which will begin momentarily.
Kevin Durant's mother, Wanda, is making media appearances to promote her new movie The Real MVP, which will air on A&E. During an interview with Brian Mitchell and Rob Carlin on CSN's SportsTalk Live, she was asked about the question everyone wants to know -- though of course she can't answer it.
Can she say if KD is coming home to play for the Washington Wizards in the summer of 2016?
"No, I cannot," she said with a smile. "I cannot."
But there is a spinoff question from that, which is about the impact of the impending decision. Does it weigh on her or her son, being that she is inevitably asked about it?
"It hasn't really weighed on me because I know my son and people may think, 'Oh, here she goes with this.' But he's really focused on winning for the Thunder," she said. "He really is. He is determined and focused. He has to give the team everything that they need and he said when the time comes, he'll make a decision. He'll talk to his family and his team around him and they'll decide what's best for him."
Does she personally get asked about it?
"Everywhere I go -- not everywhere -- but the people that recognize me always ask, 'Is he coming home? Is he coming home?' I'm like, 'I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know what he's going to do.' He hasn't decided yet what he's going to do."
