Bradley Beal will be fined $15,000 by the NBA after the office reviewed a brief scuffle earlier in the week in a game at the Orlando Magic, league sources told CSNmidatlantic.com on Sunday
Kelly Oubre and Bismack Biyombo got into a shoving match on a transition play with 7:40 left in the fourth quarter of the Wizards' 94-91 win on Friday.
Beal stiff-armed Evan Fournier, grabbing him momentarily by the throat, but no blows or punches were thrown. Fournier and Beal were going at it from the start in a physical game, with the Magic guard getting six foul shots and Beal getting zero.
The league reviews altercations and at their discretion can issue fines or suspensions. The game officals gave all four players involved, Oubre, Biyombo, Beal and Fournier, technical fouls.
Technical fouls cost $2,000 each per player.
The Magic beat the Wizards earlier in the season, 88-86.
