The Wizards got a boost before their game on Monday night against the Indiana Pacers with the news Kelly Oubre, Jr. was cleared after going through concussion protocol. Oubre, 21, sustained a mild concussion on Friday night in a game against the Detroit Pistons.

Here is what Wizards Insider J. Michael tweeted before the game:

Oubre was hit in the head on a screen set by Aron Baynes of the Pistons. He was then evaluated after a 48-hour period before getting cleared.

Oubre has emerged as a valuable member of the Wizards' bench this season. Getting him back is excellent news.
