Wizards sharpshooter Otto Porter was so hot in the first quarter on Thursday night against the Pacers that even a malfunction of the shot clock in Indiana couldn't throw him off.
The Wizards inbounded the ball with 6.7 seconds left in the first quarter and the shot clock read as 4.6 seconds because it didn't reset when the Pacers' shot went in on the previous possession. Becuase of that, the buzzer rang while Porter was shooting and with just over a second left.
Porter was not fazed and followed through on his shot. It banked in and, as play-by-play announcer Steve Buckhantz immediately called, it ultimately counted.
Watch the whole sequence right here:
That was Porter's fifth three in the first quarter alone. His career-high is six.
Porter later made this ridiculous circus shot in the second quarter:
The guy just couldn't miss on Thursday night.
