John Wall was an assist shy of a triple-double in Wednesday night's win over Indiana, posting 36 points on 11-of-19 shooting to go along with 11 rebounds and nine assists.
That came in front of a strong crowd at Verizon Center that was with Wall every step of the way. Postgame, he talked with CSN's Chris Miller.
"You guys have now won seven straight here at home, you've got the crowd chanting 'M-V-P!' when you're at the free-throw line," Miller said. "Where are you guys at in terms of home court?"
"It's amazing, man. This is what I've seen in the past," Wall responded. "Two years when I made the playoffs, those years our crowd was amazing. Without these guys, we don't find a way to get that sense of urgency when we're down or when we're up and teams come back.
"They give us that sense of urgency that we need to get over the hump and they've got to understand that we enjoy that. We enjoy coming home. We don't want to feel like it's a road game and we're on the road when we already got 41 games on the road. So, it's exciting to come back here and exciting to get another win."
