The Wizards will be back in action in just a matter of weeks. On Tuesday, they announced their training camp schedule including media day and an open practice for fans.
Media day will be held on Sept. 25 at Capital One Arena. That's the first time we will hear from many of the Wizards players about their offseasons and hopes for the upcoming year. Training camp then begins the following day at the Siegel Center on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va.
Training camp in Richmond will run five days, through Sept. 30. That includes an open practice on Friday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. It's free and open to fans.
Here is the full schedule:
Mon., 9/25 - Media Day
Tue., 9/26 - Training Camp Day 1
Wed., 9/27 - Training Camp Day 2
Thu., 9/28 - Training Camp Day 3
Fri., 9/29 - Training Camp Day 4
Sat., 9/30 - Training Camp Day 5
The Wizards will then return to Washington to begin their preseason schedule soon after on Oct. 2.
