Second-year forward Kelly Oubre, Jr. was docked $25,000 by the NBA on Friday for kicking the basketball into the stands.

The incident happened on Wednesday after the Wizards' Game 2 win over the Hawks at the Verizon Center.

Oubre kicked the ball into the crowd right after the buzzer sounded. This is the first time Oubre, 21, has been fined this season. He was fined $15,000 last season for an obscene gesture.

Here is a video of Oubre's kick:

Oubre had a frustrating night despite the win. He had just one point on one shot in 13 minutes and spent much of the game in foul trouble. After the game was over, he remained on the court practicing his shot.

NBA vice president of basketball operations Kiki VanDeWeghe announced Oubre's fine.
