The best female soccer players on earth are gearing up to take part in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. The United States team, defending World Cup champions and winners of four of the eight all-time tournaments, look to extend their record with their fifth World Cup trophy.
This year, the prestigious tournament will take place in Australia and New Zealand. For the first time ever, the field has been increased from 24 to 32 teams, meaning competition will be stepped up a notch this year.
