2017-18 NBA Rookie of the Year: Down the final stretch of the regular season

Let's be honest, the 2018 NBA Rookie of the Year race comes down to two names.

Whether it's Ben Simmons or Donovan Mitchell in your eyes, you can also agree both have resumes that deserve the award.

That doesn't take away from the fact that this rookie class has lived up to the hype.

Simmons and Mitchell have their respective teams either already in the playoffs, or close to clinching a spot, but even the teams involved in epic tank-jobs have rookies that promise a bright future.

Josh Jackson has come on recently, along with Dennis Smith Jr.

Jayson Tatum has done well in Boston with an increased role during their rash of injuries too.

As we wind down the 2017-18 NBA regular season, it's safe to say there a quite a few potential stars in this year's rookie class.
