Thanksgiving belongs to football, but when it comes to Christmas, that's basketball's day.
The 2020-21 NBA season is set to tip-off on December 22nd, leaving an intriguing Christmas Day lineup filled with early-season matchups between the league's heavyweight teams.
Games start at 12 p.m. and run all the way through 10:30 p.m., in case you needed anything else to do that day.
2020 NBA Christmas Day schedule
12:00 p.m.: Pelicans vs. Heat (ESPN)
Zion Williamson makes his Christmas Day debut against the reigning Eastern Conference champions. Williamson and Bam Adebayo should be an explosive matchup between two of the game's most athletic big men.
2:30 p.m.: Warriors vs. Bucks (ABC)
Stephen Curry returns to the Christmas Day lineup after missing out last year with a wrist injury. Steph vs. Giannis Antetokounmpo should be an exciting game, especially considering the Warriors' reported interest in the Bucks star.
5:00 p.m.: Nets vs. Celtics (ABC)
Kyrie Irving will play his first game in Boston since leaving the franchise in 2019, though there won't be fans there to boo him mercilessly.
8:00 p.m.: Mavericks vs. Lakers (ABC)
When Luka Doncic and LeBron James get together on a basketball court, those games become instant classics. Plus, the Lakers will want to establish themselves against an up-and-coming contender in the Western Conference.
10:30 p.m.: Clippers vs. Nuggets (ESPN)
The Clippers will want revenge on the Nuggets after blowing a 3-1 series lead against Denver in last season's conference semifinals.
