San Antonio won the right to draft the generational superstar Victor Wembanyama in next month's NBA Draft. It's exactly what the franchise needs after being a shell of themselves following their dynasty run from a decade ago. Wembanyama is a physical marvel at 7-foot-2. With his height and mobility, he'll bring the ball up the court and run the offense like a guard would. It's a size and skill set combination that the league has never seen before at this level. Some liken his skills to Kristaps Porzingis and Kevin Durant, which has him on a track to change the future of the league. The Spurs are a great landing spot too, they have quite the glowing history of No. 1 picks with Tim Duncan and David Robinson. - TB

Scoot Henderson has long been considered the second-best prospect in this class, but the Hornets already have their point guard in LaMelo Ball. Miller would be an ideal complement to Ball as one of the best 3-point shooters in the draft who also has the above-the-rim athletic potential to be a star. Charlotte could improve their last-ranked offense in a hurry with Miller, who can light it up from three efficiently and in volume. Ball would find him countless easy looks in transition while overtime Miller could develop into the complete package as an offensive player with the ability to make plays off the dribble. - CH

Despite Brandon Miller's stock continuously rising since January, there were few situations where it was conceivable to see him being drafted before Scoot Henderson. Well, the Hornets' hesitancy to add Henderson to their backcourt, gifts Portland a phenomenal guard to pair with Damian Lillard.

The raw speed and playmaking should be a huge boost for the Trail Blazers. Henderson's dynamicism will open up opportunities for their established star and will likely be enough to vault the organization back into contention in a competitive Western Conference. - TB

Amen Thompson enters the draft with perhaps the most show-stopping athleticism of all prospects in this year's class. He's an elite ballhandler with a wide range of ball moves and a natural playmaker who can find a way to pass the ball to any teammates on the floor. Right now, he presents the best case for evaluators when considering Overtime Elite's prospects over the past two years.

There are legitimate concerns about his shooting from deep as he was just a 25% shooter from 3-point range on 2.7 attempts per game. His 56.6% mark from the free-throw line suggests there's a lot that needs to develop. But his other skills at the point and defensively will buy team's time to work on that element of his game. - TB

Detroit fell lower in the lottery than they were hoping for, but still come away with a great prospect in Whitmore, who has a chance to be a perennial All-Star at the wing position. He is the type of athlete the Pistons seem to like with size, speed and explosiveness, the latter evidenced by his 40 1/2-inch vertical leap at the combine. Whitmore would complement what Detroit already has going with Cade Cunningham, Jaden Ivey and Jalen Duren. Whitmore can create his own shot off-the-dribble, finish with power around the rim and play switchable, physical defense. He would fit nicely alongside Duren and Isaiah Stewart in a bruising frontcourt. - CH

Playing more on the wing rather than at the point like his brother, Ausar Thompson has a ton of athleticism that should give him an edge in the NBA. His defensive skills are already at an elite level, like his footwork and intensity. At 6-foot-7 with a plus-three wingspan, his length makes him a natural disruptor who can play out of position. There's also a ton of potential for him to develop as a playmaker and with the right franchise, could be molded into a two-way star. - TB

A flashy 3-and-D forward with tremendous upside to be a versatile scorer and playmaker. What's not to like? Hendricks closed his freshman season at Central Florida with a 39.4% 3-point mark at 4.6 attempts per game. He's bouncy and has the defensive range to cover multiple positions. The upside comes from his playmaking ability in the short roll. He stands at 6-foot-9 and appears to be more than ready to take the next step to the NBA. - TB

There is no guarantee Black falls this far, as he continues to build positive momentum after registering a 39-inch vertical leap at the combine and impressing teams at his pro day. But if he does, it may make for an easy decision for the Wizards who might find his combination of size and defensive versatility hard to pass up. Black would fill a long-term need at point guard and likely play well off of Bradley Beal. Black could take on bigger defensive assignments and create open shots with his speed and court vision. Any team that drafts Black will have to deal with growing pains related to his outside shooting and turnovers, but the potential is there for a very good NBA player. - CH

Wallace appears to be a safe bet to have a long and successful career as an NBA point guard. He's got the size (6-4), skillset and motor that suggests a very high floor. If his ceiling proves to be higher than expected, he could be a late-lottery steal. Wallace is a disruptive, physical defender and on offense displays an advanced feel for the game with his ball-handling and passing. He isn't the fastest player but tends to get past defenders due to his timing and strength. Wallace's 3-point shot will need to improve, but he has a smooth motion and a fairly quick release. - CH

In a draft that is void of big men aside from Wembayama, Jarace Walker has the opportunity to be selected in the top half of the lottery. His per-40 rebounding numbers (9.8) given his utilization at Houston are impressive. Already, he has the power and body to match up against current NBA stars. The little playmaking he does show with the ball in his hand also is a look into what he could develop into. Look for a team that needs help in their interior defense to snag him. - TB

Known for his 3-point shooting prowess and 40.3% deep-ball percentage this past year at Kansas, Dick has many skills that teams covet in a draft prospect. He plays hard, has good length that leads him to above-average rebounding and steal rates, as well as an assertive demeanor he brings to the court.

Orlando is putting together a really talented young team. Adding a knock-down shooter to a lineup that includes Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner should really open up the floor and give them a multi-faceted offense. - TB

Smith missed about half of his freshman season due to a knee injury but did manage a fairly decent sample size of 17 games. During that time he struggled to find consistency and shot a low percentage both from the field (37.6) and from three (33.8). That has taken his draft stock from a likely top-5 pick to somewhere in the back half of the lottery. Whatever team takes him will hope the upside he flashed in high school is more indicative of his long-term NBA potential. - CH

Keyonte George is a talented scoring guard who struggled with consistency issues throughout the season with Baylor. When he gets downhill, there aren't many defenders who can slow him down or stop the 6-foot-4 guard's shot. He's also an underrated passer who hits his marks on the move with ease. It's easy to say he would improve any offense he gets added to.

If George gets hot during the NBA Combine, his other skills make him a prospect who could leap into the top 10. - TB

Finding natural point guards who possess first-round talent is becoming more rare as NBA Drafts pass by. Bufkin, however, has the full package to run an offense and be a scoring threat in every corner of the court. The Wolverine saw his shooting numbers increase by 10 percentage points from the field and deep during his sophomore season. He plays with high energy on both sides of the floor and could rise up big boards as teams get a closer look at him during the NBA Combine. - TB

A very different player than his father (Juwan), Howard is a smooth 6-foot-7 swingman who takes and makes a lot of threes. His percentages fluctuated a bit, but he still made his threes at a solid clip (36.8%) considering the volume (7.3 3PA/g). Howard also looks the part of an NBA shooter with a smooth motion and release. He's not going to blow past people, but he has quick footwork and a fairly sharp handle. Long-term questions for him involve his defense and offensive versatility. - CH

Jordan Hawkins' impressive NCAA Tournament with the championship-winning Huskies elevated his stock as an elite shotmaker who could contribute immediately to an NBA roster. During that run, he made 21 threes in a six-game span, shooting 50%, it raised his season-long mark to 38.8% which is one of the best in the class. - TB

After Wembanyama, Rupert is the next international prospect expected to go in the NBA Draft. He didn't play much in the NBL so interested teams will be sure to invite him to workouts. With a wingspan of 7-foot-3 and turning 19 years old just weeks before the draft, who wouldn't want to take a look? His limited action looked promising as a potential wing in the NBA. Still, the best landing point for him will be a team known for their player development and letting him improve deep down the bench. - TB

Lewis's stats are mighty impressive and he clearly was born with a playmaking gene that some players could never develop. However, the lack of Pepperdine's success is starting to impact where to evaluate Lewis. Ending the season shooting just shooting 21.4% from 3-point range in his last 10 games also is not how one wants to end their evaluation.

The draft combine will be huge in determining where Lewis falls. - TB

This draft is not lacking whatsoever in athletic forwards and Jackson is yet another, though also with maybe the rawest skillset in the lottery. He's fast and mobile at 6-foot-9 with the ability to create off the dribble, but he shot sub-40% from the field and is not particularly good at shooting from anywhere on the court, even at the free throw line. The caveat is he's only 18 and won't turn 19 until December. He's a long-term project who could be worth betting on if a team can give him time to develop. - CH

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Murray is a very similar player to his twin brother, Keegan, who also played at Iowa and made a significant impact right away for the Kings. Kris is also a gifted scorer, rebounder and shot-blocker who is a particularly effective offensive player due to his size, speed and shooting touch. Kris, however, is not expected to be picked as high as Keegan largely because he didn't score with the same efficiency. But all the talent seems to be there for a potential draft steal. - CH

There is not a place on the court where Brice Sensabaugh is afraid to take a shot. Most of his work is done in the midrange, but his shooting prowess extends to beyond the arc where he has knocked them down at a 41% clip with 4.5 attempts per game. You can tell he already possesses a great feel for the game that should only increase as he gains more experience. - TB

Miller is mobile for his size as a 6-foot-10 forward, with a knack for tough finishes around the rim. He would ideally fall to a proven player development program, but the potential is there for a good NBA player. - CH
