How do Bradley Beal and Jayson Tatum know each other?

Beal and fellow Celtics star Jayson Tatum went to the same high school in St. Louis, MO. Beal played basketball at Chaminade College Prep from 2007-11, and Tatum played there from 2012-16 and also participated on Beal's AAU team "Brad Beal Elite."

Beal used to babysit Tatum since they lived so close to each other and now they continue to relish in competing against one another in the NBA. They were set to play together competitively for the first time in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, but a positive COVID-19 test from Beal kept him from playing in the tournament.

The two players also share the same trainer, Drew Hanlen, and have both given their first-born sons the nickname "Deuce."

What is Bradley Beal's role on the Wizards?

Everything with the Wizards begins and ends with Beal. He's the team's best player, leading scorer and face of the franchise. On a night-to-night basis, Beal tends to do exactly what his team needs from him.

If the roster is devoid of scoring, Beal can average 30 per night. If all three of the Wizards' point guards are in health and safety protocols, Beal has the ability to fill in as the floor general and play at a high level. He's yet to experience the kind of success other franchise cornerstones such as Stephen Curry or Giannis Anteotokounmpo have had, but Beal's role and importance to the Wizards mirror players of Curry and Antetokounmpo's caliber.

Which shoe brand does Bradley Beal wear?

Beal joined Jordan brand at the end of 2020 and recently re-upped with Jumpman in December 2021. His new deal includes a new personal logo and a plan to equip his AAU team with Jordan brand apparel.

However, he is not expected to come out with a signature shoe just yet. For now, his go-to shoe on gamedays is the Air Jordan 36.
