Bradley Beal will miss the next two Wizards games on Tuesday in Milwaukee and Wednesday in Philadelphia with a sprained left wrist, the team announced Monday.
Beal suffered the injury at the 7:47 mark of the third quarter during the team’s loss to the Grizzlies on Saturday night. He will be evaluated later in the week to determine the next steps
He scored just nine points on 2-of-11 shooting against Memphis, and had to become more of a distributor in the loss. Beal finished the night with 12 assists.Â
In 40 games this year, Beal is averaging 23.2 points per game with 6.6 assists — the latter being the best average of his career. The Wizards, though, haven’t done much in recent weeks.Â
They are on a five-game losing streak and with just four difficult games left until the trade deadline, the 23-26 Wizards are now in a deeper hole than they previously thought.
