Shooting guard James Harden is set to make his Brooklyn Nets debut Saturday night, the team announced.
Harden, 31, was traded to the Nets earlier this week as part of a four-team mega-deal. The Indiana Pacers sent Victor Oladipo to the Rockets in exchange for a package from Brooklyn centered around guard Caris Levert. The Rockets received Rodions Kurucs, four first-round picks and four-picks swaps from Brooklyn in the deal, as well as Dante Exum from Cleveland. Two Nets players, Jarrett Allen and Taurean Prince, head to the Cavaliers.
Harden is joining forces with notable stars, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Irving is not active for Saturday's game due to health and safety protocols. He had previously been listed as out for personal reasons.
The Nets (7-6) face the Orlando Magic (6-6) at 6 p.m.
