LeBron James encourages action: 'Change doesn’t happen with just talk'


After the NBA players boycotted Wednesday's playoff games, all parties have reported;y agreed to resume the playoffs on Friday, August 27.

Of the many players involved in preliminary discussions surrounding what the NBA can do to bring real change regarding systemic racism and police brutality, Lakers superstar LeBron James has been one of the most vocal. 

After news of the NBA's return surfaced Thursday afternoon, James took to social media with another message.

"Change doesn’t happen with just talk!! It happens with action and needs to happen NOW!" James said. "For my @IPROMISESchool kids, kids and communities across the country, it’s on US to make a difference. Together. That's why your vote is @morethanavote  #BlackLivesMatter"

James tweet comes off the heels of a heated message yesterday in which he said "F--- THIS MAN!!!! WE DEMAND CHANGE. SICK OF IT."
