First up in our look around the sports world, the Washington Football Team shocked many after taking down the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers on the road, 23-17. Following the game, head coach Ron Rivera handed out the game ball to third-year wideout Cam Sims, who caught a career-high five passes for 92 yards contributing a large part to Washington's victory.
While Washington was representing for the DMV in Pittsburgh, the new face of the Washington Wizards, Russell Westbrook, was getting comfortable in his new threads showing them off at a photo shoot for the team.
Lastly, Eagles' Lane Johnson and Nathan Gerry were spotted being good sports after they both went through successful surgeries. Johnson, the Eagles right tackle, tweeted this photo of the two holding hands in hospital beds, quoting "The Hangover" saying "the two best friends that anyone could have!".
