After suffering from a tough loss to the Las Vegas Aces 92-75 in Game 3 on Sunday night, the Washington Mystics return to action for Game 4 on Tuesday night at 9:00 p.m. ET.
The Mystics seemed to have lost their rhythm and are in need of a momentum boost going into Tuesday nights game.
Compared to the Mystics regular season averages at 46.9% from the field and 36.6% from behind the arc, they shot 38.6% from the field and 33.3% from behind the arc in Sunday night’s loss to the Aces.
Mystics star Elena Delle Donne was the only starter to hold it down, scoring 22 points.
Emma Meesseeman, who’d been a force to be reckoned with, dominating in Game 1 and Game 2 loss her mojo in Game 3. Meesseeman was only able to score six points in Game 3 and she essentially drew a technical from Mystics' coach Mike Thibault after she got away with a high elbow that was not called.
LaToya Sanders also struggled with only four points in 24 minutes.
The Aces, on the other hand, were on fire.
Liz Cambage put up 28 points with six rebounds, two steals and a block, while A’ja Wilson had 21 points, eight rebounds, two steals and two blocks.
Game 4 is set for Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. The best-of-five series
The Aces are in need of another win in order to keep the series alive, let’s see if the Mystics will find their groove and clinch the series.
