Gilbert Arenas is resurrecting Agent Zero in the BIG3!

Ice Cube's league tweeted Thursday that Arenas would join the Enemies, expansion team in the BIG3, and wear his old number zero. He will serve as team captain.

The rest of the roster has yet to be announced.

For those unfamiliar, BIG3 is three-on-three professional basketball with 12 teams entering the 2019 season. It has attracted some big-name former NBA players, including Kenyon Martin, Amar'e Stoudemire and Metta World Peace.

Many of those players also have big-time personalities, so Arenas should fit right in.

Agent Zero earned his nickname as one of the NBA's most explosive scorers and clutch performers, spending the prime of his career with the Wizards. Washington basketball fans of that era will never forget Arenas dropping 60 points to beat Kobe Bryant's Lakers in 2006.

In all, Arenas averaged 25 points, 5.7 assists and 4.7 rebounds in his time in D.C., as well as three All-Star and three All-NBA selections. But his outlandish personality earned him as much fame as any on-court production, as well as another nickname—No Chill Gil (that inspired the name of his current podcast).

At only 37, he's younger than some current NBA players. Everyone who enjoyed watching Agent Zero in play in Washington hopes he has a lot left in the tank.
